Why we use it
We use personal information to provide the service, protect users, investigate disputes, review courses and teacher verification, process refunds, and comply with legal and operational duties.
Payout and payment data
Student payments may be handled through Wise payment links or approved banking methods selected by the platform. The platform may store records about wallet credits purchased and transaction references needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and support. Teacher payout details are handled separately for payout operations, including any payout-fee deductions passed through to the teacher. Sensitive payout data is restricted and only revealed internally when required for payout processing.
Platform safety and monitoring
We may log failed login attempts, refund activity, message safety triggers, course review actions, and payment operations to protect the platform and users.
Cross-border processing
Because the platform serves users and payout recipients across multiple countries, some personal information may be stored or processed with service providers or payment partners outside South Africa where reasonably necessary to operate the service lawfully and securely.
Your rights
Where applicable under South African law, you may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate information, object to certain processing, or request deletion where we are not legally required to keep the information.
